25' 12/3 Heavy Duty Extension Cable This cable can handle up to a 2k unlike hardware store orange cords that are usually made of 14/3 which is rated for much less. This run is short enough to keep from wrapping excess cable, but long enough to prevent it from becoming accidentally unplugged. But you can always cut it into smaller lengths and add ends if you prefer to make multiple short cables.
